A record number of over two hundred thousand devotees thronged the precincts of the Shrine of Our Lady of Madhu as the Feast began this morning (15).

Colombo Crime Division (CCD) head, SSP Vass Gunawardena was transferred yesterday (14).

He was alleged to be involved in the abduction and assault of an IT student.
